End of Service Announcement for OTA Firmware Update
We are announcing that all Edimax apps and web UI will no longer support OTA (over-the-air update) functions starting at the end of November 2024. After this date, no further security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support, or online technical content updates will be provided through the OTA method.

End of Support for Wi-Fi Router, Access Point, and Range Extender
Edimax Technology has provided and fulfilled 2 years of support for the following Wi-Fi Router, Access Point, and Range Extender products. The 2-year support period has ended, and these products were officially discontinued on January 10th, 2020.

After the discontinuation, firmware updates, technical support, and services will no longer be available for these models. However, Edimax will continue to provide full support for current and upcoming products to ensure you enjoy the best possible experience with our solutions.
EdiView II and EdiPlug Apps EOS Announcement
As part of our product transition strategy, EdiView II and EdiPlug apps for iOS and Android reached the End of Support (EOS) in September 2018. These apps have been replaced with the EdiLife app to provide improved functionality and support.
We encourage all users to migrate to the EdiLife app as we have retired the EdiView II and EdiPlug apps. EdiLife is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
