In partnership with GEO Semiconductor Inc., Edimax Technology will develop IoT and video applications for Raspberry Pi developers and introduce a new network camera with full Raspberry Pi compatibility.

The new network camera (IC-5150Pi) is an innovative fisheye cam which includes free cloud storage, advanced WDR technology and fully customizable motion and sound detection system – and is the first release of an exciting new range of smart Wi-Fi cameras to be introduced in 2016. Incorporating a High Dynamic Range (HDR) Image Signal Processor (ISP) GC6500 from GEO Semiconductor Inc. and an AR0330 CMOS digital image sensor from ON Semiconductor, the IC-5150Pi will be fully compatible with Raspberry Pi 1, Pi 2 & Pi Zero via USB/Micro USB.
