ES-5240G+ V3 este un switch web smart eficient din punct de vedere al costului ce intruneste specificatiile Gigabit IEEE 802.3/u/x/z. Este echipat cu 24 de porturi gigabit, 4 sloturi SFP si o interfata de management accesibila via web browser pentru monitorizare, configurare si control al activitatii fiecatui port in parte. Switchul este optim pentru aplicatii SMB si aditional prezinta QoS, port mirroring, VLANuri, securitate LAN, multicast stream video si SNMP v1.

QoS cu 4 Nivele de Prioritate
The QoS (Quality Of Service) feature provides four internal queues to support four different classifications of traffic and operates at full wire speed. High priority packet streams experience less delays inside the switch, which supports lower latency for delay-sensitive traffic. The switch classifies packets as one of four priorities according to 802.1p priority tags, DiffServ and/or IP TOS. Programarea efectivă din fiecare port ieșire se poate baza pe o prioritate strict, round robin ponderat sau un amestec din ambele.

Suport Multicas VLAN
Multicast VLAN is designed for applications such as Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) which use multicast traffic across an IP Ethernet network. The feature allows one single multicast VLAN to be shared among different subscriber VLANs on the network, improving bandwidth utilization by reducing multicast traffic in the subscriber VLANs and simplifying multicast group management.
