The EB-MDC2 is a Bluetooth Class 2 USB adapter which complies with new Bluetooth V2.1+EDR standards and is backward compatible with Bluetooth V2.0, V1.1 and V1.0. Bluetooth V2.1 provides many useful functions, including lower power consumption and enhanced security. With the EDR( Enhanced Data Rate) technology, it provides the data rate up to 3Mbps. Class 2 device maintains Bluetooth connections up to 10. The EB-MDC2 compact design allows you to fit it in a limited space without interfering with other USB devices.

 

The EB-MDC2 supports secure simple pairing function which allows users to pair devices much more simply and quickly. The secure simple pairing function can reduce the number of operations / keystrokes required via confirming the same 6-digit pairing number automatically.

 

The EB-MDC2 “Sniff Subrating” feature can increase the battery life of connected Bluetooth V2.1 device 5 times in sleep mode. Sniff Subrating reduces the power consumption when devices are in the sniff low-power mode, especially when linking with asymmetric data flows.

 

Bluetooth V2.1 standards can provide more information during inquiry procedure. The information includes device name, a list of services the device supports, the time of day and pairing information… It is very helpful for you to identify and filter devices.
