Edimax announces 200 Mbps PowerLine networking solutions |
| Turn your electric wiring in your home or office into a high-speed wireless network with the Edimax 200Mbps PowerLine Ethernet Adapters |
| Edimax Technology, leading manufacturer of networking and connectivity solutions, introduces a PowerLine Ethernet Adapter that turns existing electrical wiring into a high-speed 200 Mbps wireless network. By simply plugging one HP-2001AV into an electrical outlet close to a router, users can turn every power outlet into a possible network connection. The HP-2100AV complies with the next generation HomePlug technology, delivering data transfer rates of up to 200Mbps . The high bandwidth and coverage enables users to share files and high definition content such as internet video, music games and voice within the network safely and easily. |
| |
The HP-2100AV can coexist with all other HomePlug compatible products. The HP-2001AV provides built-in Quality of Service (QoS) features that help prioritize data packets and ensure a high quality, consistent performance for high definition applications . To secure the connection and keep data safe from intruders, the PowerLine solutions from Edimax support 128-bits AES link encryption. In addition, the HP-2001AV provides a hardware 'Group button' and 'Reset button' to simplify the configuration and create several PowerLine network groups in the wireless network.
|
| The HP-2001AV PowerLine adapters are easy to set-up with the convenient plug and play installation. Simply plug them into available electrical wall sockets - one into your router and the other to the device that you wish to connect to your network. |
